The day I fell in love with Bluebell

Jonthephotodude

Yes she was cute, yes she was old and yes she was blue but this was the glorious day I met Bluebell - she also had white ribbons and made a very distinctive burble sound :)

Anyway back to the day ;) and what a day!!! First off; getting ready at the Oak Barn at Hittisleigh Barton in their fabulous accommodation the Linhay. Its a perfect space for getting ready with its large lounge, bridal suite, kitchen and two ground floor bedrooms - there's loads of room for everyone, including me.

Next it was off to Crediton Parish Church, which as a photographer is probably my favourite church in Devon. Its a mini Exeter Cathedral really (check out the history) and so there's loads of room to stay well out of the way and the photos inside are truly epic. The golden arch is very special.

Then after some family shots and confetti it was off in Bluebell and back to the Oak Barn for the rest of the days fun. The Oak barn has a wonderful outdoor area under its big oak tree so plenty of garden games and lots of fun with drinks served in the Acorn barn.

The wedding breakfast was served in the main barn and after speeches it was outside again for more games, drinks under the tree and a bit of football.

One of the big advantages of the Oak Barn is its location, amazing views all round with Dartmoor in the background. Evening time, if the weather permits, theres always a great sunset picture in one of the many fields. Theres just so many photo opportunities - its a photographers dream venue really :)
